Slight sarcasm there. Only have a month or so of floundering in basketball before baseball gets going to let us down again as well.

Just got around to watching that basketball game from yesterday because apparently I’m a glutton for punishment. What an abysmal effort from our “starters” and key subs outside of Dia and Perry. Beard sent them a clear message by not playing most of them in the second half. It was very much noted by Jimmy Dykes. I tell you though, those guys may dig their heels in and just decide they aren’t going to give the effort Beard is demanding. This could just be ugly this season and not much else.

I only saw the box score. If the intensity of scoring in the second half matched the first half, we’d only have like 1 loss up to now. Beard must be fuming…

Turned the game on, watched a couple minutes, and now I'm channel surfing to find something else to watch. This team is absolutely horrible. Beard really missed on this group.

Don't let the score tonight fool you. We've had multiple slow starts leading to our losses and it happened again tonight. Normal starts would have us with at least 2 more wins
