Speaking of LB coach, Tom Allen just signed a 7 yr 3m per deal w/ IU. They want him until he retires apparently. good for him.

There is a rumor that the newest TE coach could be Joe Jon Finley from A&M. Anyone know anything to substantiate that rumor?

I heard yesterday that we're looking at several coaches who are either in the NFL or in bowl games. I suspect we'll have more action Monday after NFL regular season ends.

Why not keep MM if Durkin is the best alternative? Durkin might be fine, but I thought MM was nearly locked in.

From everything I’ve seen, he’s Michigan’s best recruiter. Would be a home-run hire recruiting wise. I’m not sure about play calling though. But I also read Saban tried to hire this guy either last year or the year before but I’m not sure in what capacity.
