I mean, I could be wrong, but from what I’ve seen it’s not even an issue of motivation. They are just an abysmal football team this year. If USF even had so much as a bottom tier SEC QB, bama would have lost that game. It was 10-3 with one minute left in the game. Our players are confident. Even overly confident. They all think they’re going to kill them. Makes me a little nervous

If Bama is smart, they will start Milroe and go run heavy on offense. We don't have the size to shut that down all day and their defense is still good enough to hold us.
With Milroe / run heavy offense we'd have limited offensive possessions. And with our current injuries on offense, scoring could be a real issue for us against that defense.

I think the rain delay caused some issues for Bama. But it's clear their offense does not look sharp.
To me, the LSU game is the one we have to win. I expect Bama to slip up another time this season (be it against VOLS, Aggie on the road, LSU, or in the Iron Bowl on the Plains). We desperately need to hand LSU a conference loss going into October to hold a tiebreaker, if necessary.

No, this is very good. What usually gets us a loss against Alabama is our team thinking the game is lost before they even get on the field. Some confidence is exactly what we need.
