Well guys, this season is gonna end in a thud (maybe thump would be a better descriptor).
Will Mike go the right thing and retire? That's the only question we are facing. I don't think Keith will fire him - Mike has been around forever and built this program. But, it's obvious his time has passed - his in game decisions are getting worse and recruiting has certainly gotten worse.

This is the biggest issue.

Hooks needed to play today and play better but I still just can't forgive not starting Morris. You pitch your best guy and see how far he can take you. Getting into a 5-0 hole just kills things. Players start counting outs and feeling like they have to hit a home run every at bat.

Also if we had thrown Elliott on Friday he probably could have gone a few innings today.

I mean yeah, but why throw your ace against the best hitting team in the regional...

It doesn’t matter who you start when we can’t field for shite.

At least we are losing in every facet of the game but power. We have 3 hits and 0 walks and every single pitcher has been hit hard.

Unless we put up a ton of runs this inning, I'm gonna find something different to watch.

If this doesn't get Bianco fired, nothing will. Yes we overachieved this season, but it's all gone to total waste and we have absolutely nothing to show for it. And it's not even like this will lead to a good recruiting class for Bianco

Humph.

Yeah, and it's not like Murray State has any pitchers left, either. Just as long as our bats don't go quiet.

If only our pitchers had shown up today

Probably deserved that. He was too obvious leaning into that pitch.

Looked like a slight flinch to me. I don't think it was intentional. Whatever

I was always taught to spin with you back to the ball and lower the bat if you want to take a plunk with the ball. Looks like you're trying to get out of the way but you're absolutely not.

Yeah if he had just turned his back to it he gets hit and looks like he's trying to protect himself. Moved his arm right in the way. Hottest hitter, don't know why he didn't want to hit in that situation.
