Well..he's fricking gone and done it again. He's burned Morris in a game where we are literally up 8 runs.
So if we lose tomorrow in a close game where Aubrun comes back and scores some runs against some dogshit middle reliever I'm going to lose my mind.

Nah, auburn had bases loaded with 1 out. If another pitcher comes in there’s a real chance that 8 run lead turns into 4. Too many innings left to skip over Morris with a series on the line.

Yeah I don't hate it. A lot of game left (and we have a leaky bullpen outside Morris) and doing what it takes to get this series win is worth more than rolling the dice on him being more useful tomorrow.
Get a series win over the #6 team when you can and figure out the sweep tomorrow. Lock up a huge series today.

That was the right time to bring in Morris. It was the 4th inning so that's completely different than bringing him in a 7-2 game in the 7th inning. Plus Auburn's bullpen isn't good and their 3rd starter sucks so we needed to do all we could to try to win game 2.

Which is why we threw Morris to try to make sure we at least win the series tonight.
Without him we lose this like 15-20 tonight.

Putting Morris in was 100% the right move in that situation.

Winning today locks in a top 8 seed. Lose and we probably drop to 9 and have to play Tuesday. I forgot the format changed so today is actually an even bigger deal for hosting.
