Y’all’s expectations are still way too high. Three seed in the Clemson Regional. Or something to that effect. Start there and work down. You will be happier. Trust me on this.

My expectation is that we miss the tournament again. I’ll still be pissed at these losses.

Well see that’s a study in contrast and makes no sense. Might as well say I definitely expect us to lose but boy I’m gonna be mad and disappointed when we do.

This is accurate and after each game I think.. we really aren’t that good
We’ve been fortunate with an easy schedule to pile on wins to make us look better than we are.. which is not that good .
We can hit decently.. but pitching and fielding are subpar . We don’t do anything that well.

That's exactly how the Florida football game last season was. I knew we were going to drop it and it still pissed me off.

Believe me, my man, nobody wants us to win in all sports more than me, but this baseball program has forced me to adjust how I approach things. And for that, I am glad I have.

Pitching hasn’t been our problem these 2 games. I’m shocked we held them to 1 tonight but I’ll take it.

If you had told me Maddox and the bullpen would give up 2 runs total, I would have assumed we won easily. Tough outing from Elliot and bats are completely asleep though. Win tomorrow and 8-4 is right on track
