And now the sweep. Hell of a weekend by them. Now we get a wounded and limping Florida team coming into town.
Think I saw somewhere that they have already lost 2 of their better starting pitchers. Correct me if I am wrong.

Our pitching has got to get better. Bats looked good this weekend, but Missouri's pitching is pretty much arse.

Our bullpen actually was pretty solid this weekend. I think they only gave up like 4 or 5 runs all weekend long. The problem is our starting pitching was really bad this weekend.

There was about a 20 mph wind blowing out to right field all weekend so anything in the air was a home run. Very much inflated the weekend numbers

Yeah, there was a ball in the first game that our CF got under at about mid-field and that damn thing sailed all the way out of the park. I've seen wind assisted balls but nothing like that ever.

I just hope we take care of business against Memphis this afternoon. Their baseball program is always a bit scary as they can win some big games, even though they are never really great.

The reason is proximity. There is a literal shite ton of Ole Miss fans in Memphis so in DeSoto county and the rest of the Memphis area, there is a bit of a rivalry, even if it doesn't translate into areas further south in Mississippi.

I went to this frickery factory like two years ago. Memphis is a dump within a dump, surrounded by a ghetto. In order to get in you had to buy a Memphis baseball season ticket (true story) which cost like $35.
For that I got to sit in some high school bleachers and watch them absolutely kick our arse. Would not recommend.
