Something interesting I noted. The next 4 games on schedule are all quad 4 games we should win. After that (as things stand today) they are all quad 1 and quad 2 games. Win these next four like we should and there may not be any killer losses floating around on the schedule. Still have to win the games but the SEC is strong.

We won by 33 without Murrell and really didn’t rebound well in the first half. It’s pretty simple just take of business until the Memphis game.

Rebels play Southern Miss in Biloxi today,
We are their first P5 opponent of the season and they're 4-5 anyway. We are a large favorite as you would imagine.

I fell asleep halfway through the first half. Not only did I fall asleep but I was fully aware that game was putting me to sleep to the point where I set an alarm.
It was unbelievably boring to watch. Part of it is how awful USM is and the other is not having any atmosphere whatsoever from the arena.

It was essentially a scrimmage, but that’s ok. Did Murrell play? We will need him to be playing his game to beat some of these SEC teams.

We've got a big game Saturday. Memphis is our only chance at one more super high quality win before conference play. Of course it sucks that State beat the brakes off them. They'll probably have their best game of the season so far against us.

I had a customer offer me tickets but it's much easier to take a 9 year old to a sports bar in Collierville than deal with downtown and the Forum. When I saw the weather rolling in I was glad I turned them down.
