That was fast. I think you guys could get Wade, but I think several programs would have to pass on Beard before you got a chance on him.

FWIW, there appears to be mutual interest. Though he will certainly have his choice of suitors if/when he's ready to coach.
Realistically, he's coached in the south his whole life. He may not want to learn new recruiting grounds at Georgetown, Pitt, Cal, Stanford, etc... I think we are still more attractive than Northwestern and Nebraska. If the FSU coach is "retired", that could be a really good fit for him.

I know that was a different situation, but he still faced DV charges until he and his dad agreed to drop them.
If Beard had been convicted, 100% never hire him. But charges have been dropped.

Lmao, the facts in the tunsil case very quickly cleared him. This seems more like Ray Rice where the fiancée/wife decides to drop charges.
Innocent until proven guilty only applies in a court of law. I guarantee you believe some people are guilty of things they have never been convicted of.
Freeze has never been convicted of anything, yet I have no doubt he is a scumbag (of a different variety than Beard).

Literally watching the last 10 minutes of this game, but we have it tied in the last minute and stay at the half court till there’s 7 seconds left. The IQ of this team is so rough

We need a big name hire - however that happens. Rolling with a mid-major hire won't be enough to immediately get fans excited again

It’s a long shot but we seriously need to go after Chris Beard. Anyone that has a problem with his personal life, nobody cares what you think or if you won’t watch. Almost everyone else will watch when he wins.

It’s really quite simple. If you can shoot you can win basketball games. We cannot and have not. Had we shot the ball at all today we’d have won that game fairly easily. State is no good but we can’t shoot for shite.

Our women’s team has come a long long way but we don’t do well with last possession scenarios. Once that game went to OT it was over with.
