You thought we’d drop the Liberty game? Hmm interesting.
Yes. Based on how Liberty looked and how much we struggled last season. I saw it as a very poor matchup and us not being able to stop them.
But after week 2 it was obvious we greatly improved and they lost all their weapons minus QB.

Allow me to explain. I’m on record on this very board and others that I will gladly embrace 8-4 and maybe even 7-5 year end and year out especially and as long as those wins are over “the right teams.” Y’all know very well what that means. That said, given our current injury situation, I worry we lose two of our last three regular season games and that’s what has me a bit “pre-bummed.” I really really really hope I I’m wrong. If I am, it will be all the better.

Correct. Doesn’t feel like 5-4 at all.
We are 7-2 with our only losses at Bama and At Auburn.
Lets go back to the start of the season. If the football gods told you “7-2 with losses at Bama and at Auburn” what would your reaction be?

You ain’t a kidding. We have a thread on the Twitter troll of the Beaver. We have some up tight fans. Likely the same guys that said “Luke loves Ole Miss”.

You can’t control that, so don’t let our injury situation make you start getting bummed about the future.
Enjoy the season for what it is. Spend time with family and friends. Enjoy being outdoors. Eat some great food.
It’s just a game, at the end of the day.

I had us at 9-3. I don't see a problem with Vandy, but man oh man would it be awesome to beat TAMU and State for a 10-2 season.

^^^ yea whatever.
You're the one who is "pre-bummed" when we are 7-2, have wins over two rivals, and will probably have a Heisman finalist.

I had us at 8-4. Anything better than that is gravy. Hopefully we can win out!

Any word on Sam Williams’ injury?

He looked like he will be ok. Maybe a bruised hip.

I know better than to ask for an injury report, but does anyone have any scoop?

11 starters out on offense. Walk ons starting at every position.

It sounds like Mingo, Drummond, and Sanders will all play this week.

Wow. Just two days ago it sounded like it would be the bowl game before he was good to go.
