Yes it was. It was in his back hand. There is no way it wasn't pass the line. Its supposed to be automatically reviewed and it wasn't.

Piss poor officiating.

Meh. Closer to getting Matt Luke fired. We win by losing

Small sample size on Plumlee, but the next coach may have a pretty good tandem with Plumlee and Ealy

I don't know how you think firing Luke helps this program. How the hell are we going to recruit with no idea who the coach is. Its the absolute worst time to fire him. You take a depleted roster from the NCAA and add ANOTHER piss poor class.

You fire him now and guys simply quit and several will transfer. OM is not in a position to start over completely. You talk about bad football and no attendance fire the guy now and see what kind of recruiting class comes here and how many guys transfer out.

Corral wasn't the problem on all of that. A lot of drops. Maybe they don't like the guy i don't know but it wasn't all his fault.

Ealy & Plumlee are true freshman with both playing football and baseball. We might suck arse under Luke but they should make for some exciting moments over the next few years.

It's just a gut feeling. I could very well be wrong and will eat crow if he doesn't end up transferring within 1-2 years. If Plumlee doesn't get the start next weekend that's messed up. I just don't think Corral is going to take it well.

Edit: In the brief moments we saw from Plumlee... 47-yd gain on 1st play. Four first down completions with one of them being a bomb, although the WR appeared to push off a little. And I haven't seen the replay close enough to know 100%, but that looked like a TD pass robbery. To do what he did as a true freshman and drive down the field like that. Impressive.

The play wasn’t reviewed because there was a running clock and reviewing it would have given Ole Miss a free time out when they may not have been able to get another play off. Plus the college replay system is so broken I doubt they even had time to signal for review.

Now if we hadn’t manage the clock so poorly and there were 30 to 40 seconds left, the play would have been reviewed.

Because he is the worst coach we have had probably in the team's history

I'm not saying fire him TODAY. I'm saying fire him after the season.

frick them. Let them. Players threatening to transfer are part of the reason he is our coach right now. Half the damn team threatened to transfer when Nutt was fired. And guess what? They didn't.

Keeping a bad coach just to keep a few players from transferring is retarded.

Is Luke the type of coach who can get us to the level needed to compete in the SEC? If you think yes, then keep him. If no, then why not go ahead and start over? There's never a good time to fire a coach. No matter when it happens, players will threaten to transfer and recruits will decommit

Don't try to tell that to people on here. I seriously wish we would have told AJ Brown, DK and Little to all frick off when they presented that ultimatum. Instead we gave them what they wanted, they gave us a 6-6 season with no bowl and left after that. frick them

Plumlee finished 7-7 for 82 yards and rushed for 53 on 3 runs.

I like Corral, he’s a gamer, but Plumlee looked to be on another level potentially. We have several good young QB’s and if Corral wants to transfer so be it, he’s had his chance regardless.

I'm high on the guy right now, but I do want to take just oneee step back and note Cal's defense was likely pretty worn out at this stage in the game. Regardless, Plumlee appeared to be a lot more comfortable out there and less "twitchy" vs. Corral as someone mentioned in the game thread. Corral strikes me as the guy who is gripping the baseball bat too tight...white-knuckling it.

That twitchy guy was me and I agree completely obviously..heck, coming off the bench if necessary might help Corral
