Just read two reports on "best available" safeties left and the general consensus is Cody is like 10th....guess the underwear Olympics hurt his draft stock!

Yeah Cody will go in the 5th or 6th. He'll stick well in the NFL, just doesn't have the "measurable" that NFL teams like to see in the top rounds.

What the hell happened? Every mock I saw was 2nd/3rd. While most of those guys are idiots, it's not every day all are wrong by 5 rounds on a 2-time All-American

Really? Everyone I heard was saying Cody would be in the 5th or 6th at best, but would be a steal.

Tenn and Nashville know where their bread is buttered, bringing in lots of ole miss players, getting those ole miss fans to buy tickets.
Smart move, and as an udfa. He only signs a 2 year contract. And he can get paid quicker if he proves himself. ( draftees have 4 year contracts i believe)
Would have liked to have seen him in the 5th round.
But very glad he didn't go in the 7th, this way he gets the best fit for himself.
Did not realize Michael Oher was no longer with the Titans, seems hes moved on to the Carolina Panthers.

It's because Cody is a linebacker and all any team has seen him play is SS. He is assured to gain another 10-15 lbs as he matures into his mid 20s and with already borderline speed, it's a risk.
