That is honestly the first time I have ever heard/seen Kiffin speak. He is a bit underwhelming. A little awkward. Says "Ok" about every 10th word. Never smiled. Seems more somber and business like than I anticipated.

From watching him on the sidelines, I assumed he would have kind of a goofy, frat boy, "let's go do keg stands" kind of persona. But he doesn't come off that way at all.

None of this is bad. Just not really what I was expecting

Watch the presser. He's loosening up a bit.

I'll tell you what, this is the damndest place to work. For good or bad, there is never a dull moment here.

While reading one of the 500 forums i had been reading during this search one i stumbled across stated "cant wait to see Kiffin mumble and stumble through his opening press conference" So sounds like this is pretty common for him.

I liked alot of what he said. I particularly liked when he talked about analytics and how when coaches send out a FG kicker to kick a kick that they have 6% chance to make then they miss it and say "well thats what i was supposed to do" He said people are afraid of the press conference so be prepared to jump on me lol.

It's almost like he watched OM games this year. There were so many times when Luke trotted the kicker out when there was little to no chance of him making it.

To be fair, kid can’t kick an extra point either... so any kicking opportunity for him was a coin flip

And athletic scholarships aren't financed by the state at a university with our athletic association composition and revenue.

Luke was pretty aggressive about not kicking those last few games.
