Well at least they’re taking out the trash. I would be willing to bet he has been healthy most of the year but just refused to actually play

He's been fully healthy since week 4. No incentive to play with the money already in his hand. Some kids are too stupid to realize that NFL contracts pay a lot more than college NIL deals

Hopefully our collective is learning from these mistakes and not paying out up front anymore without some sort of performance.

I loved what Kirby had to say about people calling and telling Bowers to sit out. He said it pissed Bowers off and those agents won’t be representing him when he does come out for the NFL. Kirby said him coming back gives him more tape and allows him to go up even more on the draft board and he’s absolutely right.

Any thoughts on if any coaching hires for State could have an impact on our recruiting. I'm sure Burnside will be open to committing back to State for the right coach. Anyone concerned if a guy like Sumrall or Schumann take the job they could poach any of our defensive line recruits?

After watching this Georgia game, it is clear we need to load up on offensive and defensive lineman.

I feel like we are addressing our defensive line issues this year. As far as State goes, I feel like Sumrall and Chadwell would give us a little bit of a headache. Chadwell only coached at Delta State for a year but he probably still has some connections.

Chadwell and his wife apparently HATED Cleveland

Schumann potentially would. Outside of someone like Deion though, I think we'll be fine this cycle

Cleveland probably didn’t like him much either after he went 4-6. Something that almost never happens over there in the modern era of football.

I see where Waller out of Picayune has flipped to Auburn. We are still wedged between Auburn and now Florida in third place. Wonder why we can't lure him our way?

If he hated Cleveland, he’ll probably hate Starkville too.

Kids on the coast have always been hard for us to get.

I know y’all get tired of my Freeze a schtick but as long as he is at Auburn I fully expect them to get 2-3 dandy dozen kids each year

Fight for Waller isn’t over at all. Auburn paid him 25k just for committing to make a splash. Similar to what state was doing this summer (but a lot less $ with state ) Waller will go to the wire

As a Clevelander, Cleveland > Starkville

It’s the crown jewel of the Delta.

I’d prefer to drop a bag on Waller at the end rather than pay low 5 figures for a little flashy commitment like these school have been doing. Hopefully the grove collective just got a nice little boost in funds over the last two days. I know I did my part yesterday

Our fanbase just needs to chill on the whole Kiffin job thing. Just support the team and don't act like an overly possessive girlfriend. You have a coach that people want. That's a good thing. We've already shown that we will fight. Carter and the administration have shown they will fight. Kiffin's own family has shown that they want to stay here.

If he goes, that's on him. We are in a really good place and could hire a damn good replacement.
