We need LB’s and DL’s
Hopefully Golding can bring in some studs

Rumblings is that we might can get him. TCU OC leaving helped.

TCU 24/7 moderator is already preparing that board - saying TCU cannot match the NIL we are offering.

It feels like for the first time in a long time that our fanbase and athletic department are finally nutting up, raising and spending money we need to put us on an elite path. Bama can be happy all they want with us taking Golding but the fact remains he is, at this moment, likely the best DC in the conference. We are swinging our dicks around making moves. The end of the season sucked but I’m just as optimistic about the future as I was after last offseason

We are investing a shite ton of money, something we have always cut corners on. It’s great to see. Hopefully kiffin reciprocates in buying in as well.

If it’s caught us off guard then it’s almost certainly caught him off guard. He told us a number he needed for NIL and we blew past that number. I think that was an indication to him that we aren’t fricking around anymore. My State buddies like Arnett and he has been put in an almost impossible situation but they are texting me how they’re irritated at their AD for not raising or throwing money around like we are right now.

Footballscoop reporting we outbid Alabama for Golding is incredible if true.
I'm taking it with a massive grain of salt obviously, but this hire does show Lane is serious about turning things around.

If by some miracle we pulled Briles from Arkansas, the meltdown would be beyond epic

Are there any actual legs to this rumor? Because a staff of Lane, Golding, and Briles would be the best staff we've ever had.

I have no clue. That honestly would be too good to be true. That being said, he was Lane’s OC at FAU

Rumblings that with our new DC hire, Jaheim Singletary (former 5* CB who just completed freshman year at UGA) is giving us a look as a tramsfer destination.
Would be a massive signing for us.

TCU sites seem extremely confident this evening they are hiring him

UAB offensive lineman Quincy McGee commits to Ole Miss.
McGee earned second-team All-CUSA honors at UAB during the 2022 season. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
Looks like he plays guard, so should compete for the starting LG spot

That’s cool but I’m concerned if a second team All-CUSA player is competing to start for us

Yeah hoping he ends up more as a rotation option / depth piece

We've started worse on the oline, and you can't have too much depth.
