I agree 100%
I feel like the Mannings don’t like him strictly because Peyton doesn’t like him due to him dipping on Tennessee. I can understand Peyton not being a fan of him due to that but the others need to grow the frick up.
Archie and the Mannings have done some amazing things for our university but they also are at the head of one of its biggest hindrances. And that’s the GOB network wanting a “yes man” at the helm. They would rather have that and go 7-5 than someone like Kiffin win 10+ games a year and take us to the Sugar Bowl. That’s why I’ll forever be grateful for Keith Carter because he basically told them to shove the McIntyre idea up their asses and to get on board with Lane or GTFO.
We are doing well with recruiting but our bread and butter right now is the portal. I think part of the reason you’re not seeing the same level of recruiting success we had under Freeze is because some of the old guard still is holding out on supporting Kiffin.
