Did they give us the Death Penalty and not tell us?

We're weeks into spring training and it is easier to get North Korea's nuclear secrets than football information.

Is it just me or would it be better for the program if we opened all our practices to generate a little excitement? Right now, our fan base morale is somewhere around the citizens of Rome on August 23, 410 just before the Visigoths sacked the city (I guess the NCAA investigators are the Visigoths in this scenario ... maybe Steve Robertson is Hannibal?)

Reading through the practice notes for each practice has me somewhat excited

So the historian in me just triggered. Do you mean to say Steve Robertson is Alaric? Hannibal was long gone by the time Rome was sacked.

I just picked a name of a guy people would recognize - although failed, ambition-greater-than-accomplishment, and riding elephants (whether over the Alps or in the mobile homes of Oktibbeha County) would fit, no?

Can you do us cheapskates all a favor and post some cliff note versions of what is being reported?

I don't think I've looked at a single write up about spring football. My give a damn radar is on 0.

I hate Spring football. The two words don't go together. Doesn't matter if my team is good, bad or indifferent. In trouble or not.

I think as far as football goes for this upcoming year and trying to be positive any way I can, is getting our younger guys reps, and breaking the hearts of some teams in contention. Hoping we only have the one year ban, we can take this year with new staff to work out any kinks. It may benefit us next year when it counts. I'm hoping to hurt alot of teams feelings this year since we have nothing to lose. Yea I'm trying to be positive...

I pray it is only a 1 year bowl ban.....and frick the rest of the SEC. They are all as dirty, if not more, than us while acting like we were 100 times worse.

Oh yeah, frick Bjork, frick Freeze, frick Vitter, frick the Idiot Boosters involved and frick the holy than though POS Rosebowl that spoon-fed the bitch info on who to grant immunity.

The guys I'm talking to in Oxford (older crowd, in their 60s) are saying it's over. Two year bowl ban and Freeze and Bjork are gone.

Oh, and our new chancellor is a complete douchebag. The BHL send us him because they hated Jones so bad, that this was their payback to OM for making them put up with Jones' ego.

That's the TLDR summary for the dinner party I attended last night.

As much as it hurts to agree with that, I can. I can see the NCAA making an example out of us while RapeU and NoAcademicsU get off with a slap on the wrist. I don't care what anyone says but beating Alabama twice put us on the radar. Yea I know we did alot of things behind the scenes sloppy, but its not near as worse as others have done or still doing. But in the back of my head I'm starting to kind of accept its going to be worse and I blame our whole administration for the way they handled it. We basically said here's the master key to every department and yall feel free to do anything you want to. When we should have shut the door in their face and let them figure out their own way of getting in.

is anyone else sick and tired of hearing all the things they've fricked up on? I don't know how you can be so clueless when it comes to covering your tracks.

If any more crippling info comes out it's time to sever the ties.

If the final penalties are anywhere close to what we've self imposed, I will positively shocked.
