The renovation for the Walk of Champions has a lot of potential. I hope the landscape is slightly elevated to give more viewing room for more people.

I know Whiskey Alley doesn't have the best of reputations, but it would be nice for the team to have a huge crowd at the end of the Walk of Champions to see the team off into the stadium. Hopefully the space's potential will be maximized and provide a great area for everyone to enjoy.

Anyone got any pics from the construction? I rode by it this weekend and could tell that the beams were almost to the scoreboard, but haven't seen a pic from inside in a while

Thanks

Also, the turf has been gone for months

It's further along than I thought. I couldn't see from the road that they were already to the Jumbotron. Ready to see some concrete

- the other will have field turf like what's inside the Manning Center

- mentioned renovations of the Gillom center for volleyball, the softball complex, a brand new track and field complex and soon to be released plans for a soccer complex

Anyone that thinks we have the nicest needs to go to the West and East side concourses. They need major work.

The fact that we were so behind in the facilities race really enabled us to build nicer things. Imagine if we would have built an arena 15 years ago, the internet as we know it barely existed and we all watched sports on tv's the size of suitcases.

I'm actually happy we still have so much room to improve/expand. Other schools don't have the options we do and will forever be stuck in the 90s in regards to facilities.

Just got word we will be waiting for a while on the renderings. Got pushed back because they have to rework some of the drawings. They'd rather wait than change them up again.

Translated: They were badass but unrealistic. The new ones wont be nearly as badass but way more realistic.

Huh??

You do realize that this just means that they will get newer stadiums in like 2030, right?
