Anyone notice how state can no longer add on to DWS? Unless they tear down that building or take the top off of their new endzone.

The end zone was built with the foundation for an upper deck, should we ever decide that we want or need one.

The M Club only cost 1.1 Mil and we have gotten almost 30 years out of it right now. If we had to tear it down it really wouldn't be that big of a deal.

I think the end zone y'all are doing now will look pretty good when it is finished. I haven't looked at the long term plans so I can't really comment on that.

Honestly, if I were an OM fan, would I have rather they fix the underside of the home stands first? Renovated before expanding? Definitely plausible, and if you aren't happy with what they are doing now I think there are justifiable reasons why. Everyone isn't going to agree. At least they are doing something though. (I know, I know, I hate saying that too) However, our stadiums were neglected for so long and we started in a huge hole when this new CFB boom started almost 20+ years ago it really put both of our AD's in a bind.

I understand both sides of the coin really.

Whoever did the planning on DWS I give them props as they planned out a whole major stadium expansion if y'all would ever get to that crowd level (though I highly doubt either Mississippi school will ever get to the level of needing 100k seat stadium)

Yeah they did. It looks so fricking sexy.

ETA: That's one of the renderings that isn't completely accurate with what we have built now but there is one. I'll try to find it.

Me either.

They did a better planning job than we did.

That would imply we planned.

I have never seen a master plan for VHS. It's what we need. Longterm vision ensures that the smaller projects you do builds up to something that you don't have to replace later.

That pic looks amazing, but Let's not lie. Neither one of us will ever build anything close to something like that

I just saw the renderings for the baseball addition. Gonna be really impressive. New locker room, meeting rooms, etc. The graphics on the walls and ceiling look state of the art, for once. I think we should have final renderings released in 3 weeks.

From what I've gathered, the new locker room and meeting room will be on the first base side. Is that right? If so, I'm assuming we will be moving the home dugout to the first base side. Not that it matters too much, just curious.

I'm looking forward to those being released.

How did the roof top area look?

Unfortunately I only saw more of the behind the scenes areas than the roof top area. They will be removing the current hitting facility and creating this space on the first base side. It will blend in better with the stadium than the current facility does.

Is the left field realignment going to bring the terrace to the wall? I think we need to do something along those lines for both right and left field at some point.

I don't like the idea of moving the home dugout to the first base side. Messes up the whole Love Is Gone dynamic with RF.

A small price to pay for this upgrade.
