Its a big risk letting him coach egg bowl and us losing it.. Cause that would put us out of the playoffs and he could just run to Gators or LSU

I'm going to laugh my arse off if LSU gets tired of this, pulls their offer and Keith decides, "You know what Lane, you're already under contract with us. We will just stick with the original version."

Probably but I think Lane is pissing off everyone and people with some big money. That alleged family visit to Baton Rouge was likely seen as a slap in the face to the big whigs at Florida who thought they had a done deal. This was pushed out very publicly so was obviously leaked on purpose.

The shot LK takes at the sID people for not being there and lane said yeah he’s probably still asleep.. that was at 11:30am… the interview wasn’t actually live. But was prerecorded
It made so much sense given that context . Or am I the only one who didn’t realize that the interview wasn’t actually live as we watched it ?

The way the screen "switched" made it kinda apparent it was pre-recorded. But if you weren't watching from the beginning of the show and only picked up when the Lane segment started, you wouldn't be able to tell. The whole thing was a PR stunt.

I forgot that next week was Thanksgiving, so maybe they aren't having one. But from that transcript, it sounded like they were going to hold him out or whatever.

Lane sticks around and reloads in the transfer portal we go and kick more arse next season.
There is a reason LSU and UF want him so badly. Its cause he is the perfect coach for this day and age of college football.

Don’t let the possibility of that segment being prerecorded devolve into more conspiracy theories. It’s pretty common for interview segments to be prerecorded due to scheduling conflicts. When I worked in TV, we would have to schedule recording all the time for politicians and other people of importance.
I’m curious what you mean by “screen switched” though. I have a solid eye for TV tricks. Can you post a clip and tell me the time stamp?
