Why would Simmons go with him?
He’s starting a D2 QB over a healthy Simmons right now. He constantly hangs people out to dry.

You’re faulting him for playing the quarterback who has played VERY well and protected the football over Simmons who started the season with 4 picks? Trinidad has earned his starting spot until he fricks it up. Simmons wasn’t ready at the beginning of the season.

will say this - it does kinda suck the excitement out of the season.

This is so true. On the precipice of the playoff .. and yet here we are .. squabbling over if he’s gonna leave and why he shouldn’t

We do bring this on ourselves ( hand up I’m as guilty as anyone) of monitoring and stressing over it instead of enjoying the season itself as its own living breathing thing. I do feel it souring though.

Speak for y’all’s selves.(idk if I’m making that word/words up). I’m still excited about the season.

My squabble is just wishing people would stfu about the same “is Kiffin leaving” bullshite we get every single season. It’s old. It’s beyond annoying. At this point, you’re just begging for the pain. Yes, I was pissed the first couple of times but eventually I just got the “frick it whatever happens happens” mentality.

I like Lane for who he is as a person and his values. If he all of the sudden skips town after all he’s said and done over the last year+……then whatever. That means he’s just as much of a snake as Tubbs and Nutt. He’ll do the same thing again.

If he leaves and we end up sucking…..then whatever. I have a kid on the way and I’ve been dying to pick fishing back up on the weekends. There’s more to life than obsessing over this.

I survived a first trimester having to deal with the fallout of non-stop nausea only to deal with a second trimester of constant hormonal shifting. Of all of the reasons that I want this kid to hurry up and be here….my sanity is one of them.

Hence my desire to pick up fishing again.

We needed to redo the her home office into a nursery.

So naturally, we(as in, me) redid the entire flooring upstairs from carpet to engineered hardwood. And now we(as in, me) are installing recessed lighting in two of the three rooms that didn’t have overhead lighting.

I miss fishing.

It truly does get better and kids are awesome. I would take the baby stage again over the ball schedules like I do now. I don't think I'll be able to come to a single game this year because of soccer, baseball, and football maybe the citadel game.

The newborn stage has its difficulties but for the most part, it’s cake. They are stationary, they eat and sleep on a schedule (for the most part). When they become mobile that’s when shite hits the fan. Especially when they start walking

Also the boob fairy comes to visit which is a nice bonus. I should've sold the breast milk in hindsight because that shite was going for like 4 dollars an ounce during the plandemic. I calculated I had about 90 grand in my freezer summer of 20.

Wait until you both reach the age where you have to deal with her menopause. Scary times...

No. I don’t need to think about that at the moment. I know it’s coming….just allow me to deal with one thing at a time.

My daughter has recently hit the prepubescent preteen years, and I’d urge you guys to enjoy every moment prior to that because holy shite, man, we have a fire-breathing dragon in the house now.

Not what I’m saying. I’m just saying Kiffin will drop someone/something as soon as he finds something he perceives as shinier. He’s done it in his personal and professional life forever and he has hurt people along the way. Not saying it’s good or bad just saying it’s who he is.
