My thoughts on Kiffin are this:
I no longer believe he is staying. Everything about his body language, the evasion, the chance to rep the program post game that he completely avoided (hell he insulted us instead). You may have your source and trust him but nothing is signed. No ink is wet and he is acting like someone that wants to leave. Throw in the conversation that he had with Carter and I just don't see it. He's going to eclipse his action at Tennessee by abandoning a playoff bound team. The way that he has handled this whole thing was about how I expect a child to handle something. He's an a-hole. He's a narcissist. He's a petulent child. I think that even Carter is to the point where he would like Lane to stay but doesn't believe he is. He never would have had that conversation with him if he felt any bit of comfort about Lane staying. Now, Lane's family and Chris' family went to Gainesville yesterday. That has been all but confirmed. I believe that he has been using the delay tactics simply to get the logistics organized. By logistics, I mean, enrolling Knox in a school, maybe Landry transferring to UF or LSU, getting Chris and his family moved, etc.
You cannot see all of these things and think that there isn't a heavy lean on him doing the dumbest thing possible and leaving for the dumpster fire of Florida.

Folks, stop falling for rumors dipshits online are creating out of thin air. Lane and Chris didn't go to Gainesville.

"all but confirmed"? What does that mean? I would think Kiffin travelling to Gainesville and enrolling his son and school would be rather easy to confirm.

I never said they went. They did not go but pretty sure that Layla, Knox, and some of Chris' family did. And I'm not falling for internet rumors. This is all very real.

They didn’t, fyi. Not speculating either.
Unless Chris can fricking teleport…

I am fairly certain that they did. I hope you are right in all of this, I just can't ignore the signs any longer.

Like I said, unless he can teleport, Chris was here.

Chase. Say what you will about Neal. I don't like him either. But Chase is a straight shooter and wouldn't say something without evidence.
And I will also add that LSU is definitely in the mix. If anything, Lane is simply undecided. Ole Miss is not a sure thing, neither is Florida.

I will say this, the longer this goes on (especially since Saturday) the less upset I am becoming at the prospect of him leaving. Letting all of these rumors out and the circus around it is very insulting to the Ole Miss fanbase, boosters and Keith Carter who have given you everything you’ve asked for and more since you got here. Yes he has brought us wins in return but this shite is exhausting.
If this isn’t settled by the Egg Bowl and the circus continues, I wouldn’t be mad at Carter if he pulled our offer and said “go wherever you want”

Oh my goodness, you are losing it.
Show us the proof, since you are 100% certain of these items. Give you a hint, a message board post cannot be the proof.
The Kiffin family is not going to magically appear in Gainesville, without actual proof.
Landry is not going to up an leave Ole Miss for her Senior year for Florida. Layla is in Oxford, because she actually cares for her youngest child and wants what is best for him.
Moving to Florida hurts Lane's family, does not help it. Lane 2.0 is a family man now, he is going to stick around until Landry and Knox are gone minimum.

I am there as well. I hope for the W/L record, he stays but he has made us a bit of a laughing stock at times and that simply cannot happen. It seems to me that he is trying to position himself to be the victim if it all falls through. With the CFP on the line, this is inexcusable the way that he has handled this.
He better win that Egg Bowl, if he even coaches it.

Really? As in his wife and kids. That’s fascinating to me. Really hard not to blow my source to the fricking moon, but again I know for a fact Chris and his people were here. Unless everyone else there was collectively hallucinating them….

I hope what you are saying is true. Neal can go eat a dick but I do respect Chase and he is saying that they visited Gainesville yesterday and a family member is in Baton Rouge this week. This is all coming from the Ole Miss side and not the Florida people.
Guys, I'm not trying to piss in the pudding, I'm just saying the for sure staying thing does not look to be certain.
Look at Carter recently. He usually goes out of his way to congratulate Kiffin after wins. This time, he bragged to the fans and left Kiffin completely out of it. And that handshake after the game between them was short as shite.

Two weeks of this crap is going to be such a distraction from what this team and these coaches really need to be focusing on. Finding a way to beat MSU in Starkville in an early morning kick. You'd think after all the shite that Rebel football fans have been through they'd be a little more thick skinned.

I’m just going to say I saw them yesterday here and I’m shocked Chase of all people is saying different and leave that at that.
