Nope, not going to. I might ask him if I see him tonight, but I really don’t trust anything associated with Neal at this point. Shame too, I like chase as a person.

In other words, he thinks Lane is leaving. That’s a much more well thought out post with logical reasoning than Neal just saying “it’s fluid but he’s leaving right now”.
I could see Kiffin being conflicted with the example Chase provided. However, if we make the playoffs and win a game, and he stays with us again I think we will see even less than that.

I think we'll need an answer before the first playoff game. We can't risk having to fully start our search that late into the cycle. We can't have a situation where all our top targets have already taken other jobs

Basically Chase's post was that Kiffin hasn't agreed to anything but that he's given Florida a number to hit. And since they are talking numbers and Florida sources have a shift toward confidence, he is afraid that Kiffin will go.

The shite with Auburn got Jimmy, to borrow a phrase from Houston Nutt, outside the circle of trust. Someone else from CAA has been handling things until this season. He did the exact same shite with feeding Neal and the rest of those dummies all this information trying to leverage KC into more money.
