Soccer is just as ridiculous. My two younger ones play and the only upside is it is done earlier than baseball. The lingo pisses my wife off though because it's not practice it's training, it's not a field it's a pitch, etc.
Just saying you're not out of the woods yet if she's interested in softball or soccer. Softball is the craziest because they'll start a championship game at midnight.

Our team doesn't do that. We call it practice, field, and the game is a game, not a match. I hate with soccer idiots try to act British. We are American. Hell, it's why we call it soccer and not football.

Don’t get me wrong, I went out and had a blast but one thing I was always meticulous as frick about was making sure my phone was fully charged before I left the house. I can only think of 2 times my phone died while I was there
