The IPF is noisy, but partly by design. Living here is weird compared to the freeze era.

I mean I’m back in Oxford for our best year ever. Idk why I’m back in this place though. I forgot about the lunatics.

You good?

We aren't lunatics. We are all just retarded.

So, as I felt, Lanes tweet last night was a real sign. Now what would be cool is if he signed his renewal before the Florida game and they show it on the video board.

I'd take a tweet after the game: "checked out Florida, they ain't it."

That’s not happening. We might get an announcement before the first round but I doubt it. Lane’s a weird dude about this stuff in that he lets Jimmy do what Jimmy wants to a point. It got sideways after the Auburn incident, but he’s back in the good graces unfortunately.

Not surprising in the least. But definitely a bit disappointing, and leaves open the opportunity for things to change and Lane have a change of heart

CFP first-round matchups after Week 10

No. 12 Memphis at No. 5 Georgia
No. 11 Virginia at No. 6 Ole Miss
No. 10 Notre Dame at No. 7 BYU
No. 9 Oregon at No. 8 Texas Tech
Byes: No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Indiana, No. 3 Texas A&M and No. 4 Alabama

Nice. We can be UVA and Indiana.

It would actually be A&M in the second round, but it's too early to start projecting matchups.

The good takeaway is we are ranked ahead of some other one-loss teams and undefeated BYU.

Yeah but we could clean house in the portal if he would shite or get off the pot. So, my concern is more that it is impacting the future.

I’ve tried to tell people to stop worrying about the job rumors and just enjoy a good season….but it’s like an addict desperately trying to get his fix.

I agree. Lane is recruiting for us now and the transfer portal doesn't open until January 2. Let him get us our first CFP win and then announce he's staying.

That actually seems like what Lane is doing. He seems attracted to the drama. He could shut it down, but he chooses not to for some reason.

Yep. It could all go away today. And we could all be solidly focused on the playoff run

Yet no we the fans are the dramatic ones apparently

Sort of:

"I'm not going to be the Alabama coach." Nick Saban 12/21/06.

"They'll have to carry me out of here in a pine box." “I’m a Rebel at heart. I want to be where people want you, where you have a chance to win, where your players are giving all they can and where it’s a great place to live. That’s exactly what we have here in Oxford.” Tommy Tuberville Fall 1998.

There’s a very gross fat man that gets paid a lot of money so he doesn’t have to bother with it.

I really thought he learned from the AU shite, but Lane is a weird dude about this stuff so just relax and enjoy the season.

Well….yeah.

College football fans are historically dramatic as hell.
