So, I’ve talk to a few people this evening with too much money. What I’m getting is the decision was made for him the moment he walked away from that table.

Good.

The only misstep was releasing that damn statement

Yep. Should have just stayed silent.

Yeah, that didn’t go over well either, but apparently Keith felt like something needed to be said. Idfk.

Everyone seems to be lining up for Sumrall which I’m fine with.

I've been big on him for years - I think he'll crush it. Wish it wasn't under these circumstances, but I'm convinced we will be happy with him long-term

Good. I don’t care if he really is “undecided” about coaching us next year. If you even have to think about it for a day, you have your interest swayed. And if you let it drag on for a month, like he has, you’re already as good as gone.

Same. Get Sumrall, announce Kiffin is gone Saturday and if possible announce Sumrall is our new coach the same day

you can almost guarantee the committee matches us up with Tulane then if that’s the case.

Do we like our odds against State? Do the OM fans in Starkville boo Kiffin?

Would give anything for Trinidad, lacy or Perkins to release a statement saying despite their coach only focused on himself and his own interests, our team is solely focused on finishing the season strong and making the playoff. We do have other coaches that are loyal to us. We will play hard for them, our school and our fans. #dontlikeorretweetthislane

Maybe Keith’s strategy is to let Lane continue to hang himself in the court if PR. Make Lane come out and sign the deal with LSU instead of giving him an easy out. If the Dellenger article is correct, the LSU deal will be finalized prior to the egg bowl

Yeah honestly I’m not worried about them. I still think we beat them by 2-3 TDs

$12.8 a year is around what we were rumored to be offering

Sorry to chip in as I know the stakes are high. As an LSU alum with ties with both schools I don’t think any serious person thinks the two schools are”poor”.

In fact I’ll confidently say this saga has made both jobs far more enticing seeing the numbers. There isn’t a “poor” sec school.

LSU has insane money too through oil and gas and construction but we’ve been led by baboons since Saban ditched us at the tarmac

I really hope the lane experiment fails and they’re stuck with another huge buyout

How fricking awkward are these practices going to be? What would make any player listen to what he's telling them to do. Same thing with the other coaches, have to figure some of them are pissed and want to beat the shite out of lane for the way he's handled this

Yeah the pro mindset mantra would fall awfully silent with me.

At this point the coaches are just white knuckling it so they can get their bonus money for the playoffs and hoping lane doesn’t sabotage their payday I would imagine
