I don’t disagree and that’s what I lean towards too.
However. Another thing, we are going to make an announcement about Lane’s future with us? Wouldn’t LSU just come out and say “he’s our new coach” instead of letting us do that?
LSU couldn’t and wouldn’t make that statement unless they had a signed contract.

He will resign following the egg bowl and the parties will walk away with no strings attached (or otherwise mutually acceptable terms). I imagine that’s the compromise.

One of the more connected LSU reporters released an article today, after the KC statement, that essentially said there was no agreement between LK and LSU and LSU was going to begin pushing hard for one starting Sunday

I’ve been trying to say for weeks now for everybody to chill and be patient and let the things play out as they may but that can really only happen for so long. Keith may very well be pulling a miracle out of his arse again like rebelgator said originally, but today’s non-announcement was anything but confidence building.
