Building traditions across sports/underrated traditions

The ‘Landshark’ tradition of putting fins up, got me thinking. It’s a tradition that initially was just related to football and our defense. As the years go on you start to see players across Ole Miss athletics doing it.
What do you think, if any, are some underrated traditions, or traditions with one sport you’d like to see grow across all them?
For Example, one of my favorite traditions comes from the Baseball team. Although I love it, it’s not the home-run showers. It’s the “BOOM” when a home-run hitter comes around to stomp on Home-Plate that the entire team yells.
I think this would be a cool tradition across multiple sports if fans are involved. You could do it for break away dunks in basketball, or maybe when we cross the goal line in football. Hearing the entire arena or stadium saying “BOOM” would be badass imo.

Winning

I like the Landshark gesture thing. Don’t care if other fan bases get a kick out if joking about it. That just means it bothers them and it’s even more of a reason for us to do it. Keep doing it. When we win and do it, it will be that much more annoying and fun to do.

I wouldn't do it there. You run the risk of the player botching the easy dunk (which happens a lot in college basketball) and everyone looking like a fool for doing it on a miss.

Traditions have to come naturally if they are going to be embraced. I hate when they try to force in some stupid new thing to do during the game.

The worst one recently is the Ole Miss car that I guess is supposed to be our version of the Ramblin' Wreck.
Our administration is horrible at creating "traditions"

But they are very good at destroying them

One of my favorite things they did briefly during Nutts first year was playing Elvis on the big screen singing American Trilogy. They stopped after 3 games.

I like the Landshark too. I think a lot more people would get behind it if they would change the shark to a fluffy stuffed animal. I just can’t believe they botched that design so badly. Also agree with HJJ - that was awesome when they played Elvis at the end of the game those few times.
