Has anyone gone ahead and bought Sugar Bowl tickets?

The last bowl game I went to was the 2013 Compass Bowl and they had shuttle buses that took fans to the stadium from a couple different hotels. I wonder if they will have something similar? Hotel prices in the French Quarter are higher than giraffe pussy, so I was debating staying in another part of the city. But it really depends if they have shuttles or not.

Havent bought tickets yet but booked my hotel yesterday. 0.9 miles from the Super Dome and only 240 a night with free cancellation. It's gotta be sketchy as hell with that price and cancellation policy ha

I booked a room yesterday, too. After booking I read some reviews about the website, amoma.com, and I am kinda worried whether I will have a room.

Wow shocked were ahead of them this high already. The best western close to bourbon isn't a bad place to stay and fairly priced.

I think the fact Sugar Bowl has put pic of Ole Miss on their front page indicates who they want.

FYI- Holiday Inn Superdome has rooms available for Friday and Saturday night. With taxes and everything mine was $541, but you can get a cheaper rate if you choose the "non refundable rate."

Waiting to hear from friend who is putting it together. Haven't decided if I'm staying down there or not. May hire a driver to take me and friends to and from.

A friend has a condo in the Bywater where I usually stay, but he said some LSU people reserved it 3 weeks ago anticipating at least a Sugar Bowl berth. He suspects that they may cancel.
