Everybody is looking at this all wrong. Oh yeah they tied it up in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and we then wen't to the 10th. I have watched Bianco in years past he easily loses this game. In the past we would have come out for the 10th totally demoralized, stressed and tight, and 1, 2,and 3 in a row out. But that isn't how the kids responded! That is the coach keeping kids focussed. Very different from Tenn Tech last year. This was a huge huge huge learning experiance for our guys. Think about it,they now feel invincible and we can always overcome adversity. If LSU goes down 1, 2, 3 in the bottom of the 9th our kids don't get that experiance and trust me that is critical experiance. An aura comes over the team that do this kind of performance in this situation. Trust me, I have coached a lot of sports in my life and kids believeng is 90% of a winning team! I hope this is the year and I do believe we go to Omaha. Win it? We will see but after today overcoming that adversity was amazing! This is a ver good omen for us!

What do tickets in Omaha cost?

As a Pilot near death experiances make you better but you wish it didn't happen but I did (3 times, differnt reasons) and I learned!

The same people that say this think Luke deserves a few more years even if we blow this year

If two counts as a few including the upcoming season, you are correct and count me in. But I’m just not seeing much of anybody saying give Luke a few more years. He’s on the clock, and I’m sure he knows it. Now, back to Bianco.

Now, back to Bianco.

My main point is Bianco seems to be different this year in his approach to the big games. We won the series in Fayetteville a damn tough place, almost won the auburn series at auburn, won LSU series at LSU. I know we lost a series to Alabama, and we lost series to Kentucky etc. when we go to post season there will only be big games! The teams we lost series to, won't be there.

This is a paradym shift for Bianco! These kids like knocking big kids off the hill and you have to admit WE scare people. If we don't then even better.

If you didn't understand what coming back after LSU tied it in the bottom of the 9th with two outs and scoring 6 runs. Then you don't understand the elasticity that this team posesses. They get up after being knocked Down Hard! LSU was planting Parker's fastball over the fence because he throws strikes! Auburn also knew that in their series so swing away. He has t change that up a bit. I have confidence they will realize that he throws strikes only for the most part. Roth changed LSUs world in the bottom of the tenth. I am telling you these kids feel it and it is their time.

I like this teams chances. I do.

Not for us. Bianco owns DVH.

That's three series losses to one win, and LSU and Kentucky pretty much cancel out, and we should've won that Auburn series. We got jobbed with the 14 inning doubleheader in the Kentucky series, but losing a series at home to one of the worst teams in the conference is bad any way you slice it. Sweeping aTm was great obviously. Winning @ Box for the first time in 37 years is pretty damn nifty, but those 37 years don't actually matter when it comes to figuring out the postseason.

While I will admit we almost certainly typically WAOM games like Game 3 @ LSU, the only reason we almost lost that game is because Bianco did one of his typical flawed things of leaving a pitcher in for a batter or two too long. Parker did not look good in the 8th, and then almost got away with it in the 9th, but didn't. His velocity and placement were both off from the get go, but we didn't have anyone working in the pen, so we had to leave him out there for those three back to back to back homers.

If guys like Roth (and a ton of the other dudes in our pen who've just been worthless this year) can come back from the dead, I like our chances a lot more, but I don't think what I've seen would suggest this team is somehow much different than any other Bianco team, and I don't think we're better than we were last year, though we have played better in conference play. I certainly wouldn't say there's been a paradigm shift from past Bianco mistakes.

We have 6 conference games left, all against top 10 RPI teams. If we kick arse, I'd be much more inclined to get prepared to get hurt again by our coach in the postseason, but at this point we're still incredibly Jekyll and Hyde, and it's hard to expect a bipolar team to go that far

We beat one good team in a series but drop 3 that we shouldn't have and I'm somehow supposed to be happy with this team

First off-We didn’t lose the series to Alabama. Secondly, we beat two very damn good teams at their place and swept a damn good A&M at our place. Thirdly, baseball like any other sport is about who’s hot and right now we’re pretty hot. Our best opportunity to improve our resume is in the last two weekends. 3-3/4-2 and we’re hosting.

Missouri, ECU, Louisville, and Wright state all turned out to be pretty good. Out of the 17 losses probably shouldn’t have lost 3-4 of them.

I think LSU is going to have a decent portion of their fan base targeting Bianco after this season. They just got killed again in midweek and are falling apart. They want CPM gone.

I would bet a clause was in is contract day 1 like Lou holtz had clause in his contract that if Notre Dame wanted him he could leave with no repercussions. I would not doubt Bianco has a an LSU clause.

I would be shocked if LSU fans want a coach who’s like PM but less successful when it matters. It’s not like Bianco has owned PM either
