Remember when Pete said the night before the Peach Bowl, Lane was dealing with something personal and wasn’t going to be very involved in the game decisions and said you couldn’t pry that info out of him?

I’d heard that Kiffin and his girlfriend had a rough patch around the Peach Bowl. That was probably bullshite.
Bentley’s stats for the Peach Bowl were pretty slim relative to previous games. 3 carries for 19 yards. Of course, Judkins was still RB1.

Regardless of what happened, It can’t just linger all year. Either cut him, or get over it and make it work. I know it’s not that simple, but it’s so awkward how it lingered all year

I have no idea if the things being insinuated in this thread are true or not. But if you just cut him he could transfer to another program. But if you keep and play him on kickoffs every game, it burns his eligibility without accumulating stats to get to the next level, the ultimate
