This tells me that either one of two things is a done deal:

Trinidad is coming back

Deuce Knight is coming here

I'm ok with either of those outcomes. I just hope that we don't get left with our dicks in our hands. But I trust this staff.

Best of luck to Simmons. By all accounts a great kid and a quartback with a lot of potential. Look forward to picking him off at least twice this coming season

Great kid and teammate. But accounted for a turnover every 18 plays this year. Played fewer than 100 total snaps.

I can't remember but were his turnovers bad before he got injured?

I felt like anytime he got in after his injury he was probably trying to do too much to get his spot back, but I swore he did fairly good the first 3 games

He threw 2 ints against Kentucky that led to points. He also threw 2 against Georgia State. He still has more interceptions than TC.

They were ugly turnovers of an unexperienced QB and he never got out of his head. Mizzou will have to be Uber patient because the game isn’t going to slow down for him in 2026.

I will always be a fan of Austin Simmons for how he handled this season. I know it couldn’t have been easy, but you haven’t heard one negative thing about him. I hope he has a great career at Missouri.

Dude led a single drive that ended in a touchdown against Georgia.

He'll always be awesome.

Hope he gets better. Glad he is no longer our backup qb. We can do better (so can Mizzou).

Good luck to the guy. I hate it didn’t work out for him here and think he will ball out at Mizzou
