"Hey kid, look at Oregon's passing game"

We threw for about 600 more yards than Oregon.

True.

My point is, it isn't hard at all to see how Lubick could have lured him away.

Anyone know about this guy? Nicholas Sims

Saw where we offered him a few days ago and it says Alabama did as well.

According to 247, only offers are OM, Bama and Kentucky Christian. What in the world could be going on there

EDIT: saw reported that Bama offer was to walk on at WR/DB, so dunno how solid OM offer is either

Still surprises me that if Alabama wants him to walk on, no one else (except maybe us) wants to take a flyer on him. I would think some group of five or FCS programs would be all over him

I've kind of hit rock bottom. I can't picture us ever getting good recruits again. I see deep, dark, dank cellar called the SEC West with us sitting at the bottom. Maybe I just need a stiff drink and a nap.

Clemson winning it all yesterday kind of brought my spirits up because it shows Ole Miss can do the same. Clemson isn't some perennial powerhouse and incredibly storied school, nor does it have some amazing advantage over Oxford in terms of academics or location.

We just need to recruit really well and actually hire good coaches who can use the talent effectively rather than just rely on it

Makes sense. He knows the air raid offense well, from MS, great recruiter.
