I thought the NCAA changed the hardship waiver rules? I might be wrong but I thought you had to sit a year no matter what now

Well BOL is convinced he's already committed silently, he's asking Ole Miss people to Photoshop Ole Miss and Hotty Toddy on his pictures, and he's adding A&M recruits on his twitter feed. In addition to being a hell of a running back he also appears to be a master of group psychology.

You can only do so much JCR.
The allure of riding the pine for 3-4 years at Bama or living in College Station and playing for a team with offensive issues so bad that their two 5* quarterbacks transferred out within a week of each other is too strong sometimes.
"I really enjoyed my OV to Oxford and I felt like I bonded really well with the players, but Texas A&M wouldn't STFU on the phone the whole trip so I'm all aggie ya'll."

Not a rumor. A member of MSU 24/7 reached out to Johnie Cooks to find out if they should come, and didn't get a yes.
