I actually like Barton, he seems to be unbiased and pretty well informed and I think he's probably one of the only recruiting analysts who has actually played football. But that statement is completely false. I'm not saying Bama won't get a couple from MS, but they're not just going to get anyone they want from the state. At the end of the day, most of these kids will stick with us or Miss State.

He said Bama has a great shot at Simmons and left it at 50/50. He has him CB to us and has not changed it. He picked Knott to Bama and never even mentioned Jones. He also said, he said we had a shot at the #1 class.
This is what he said he said on 247. No idea which story is true, but you can see how an emotional fan can construe what he said into Bama getting them all.

I knew Barton when we were youngsters. He is a good guy. Having said that he has no more knowledge of what a lot of these kids are thinking than we do.

If we have more guys transfer like tee Shepard, Buchanan, or these self imposed schoolys bans are lifted.
Scholarships will be made available for the fall semester and moving forward.
Hometown guy, grew up dreaming of playing for the rebels.
Glad to have him no doubt.

Looks like Robert's stock is starting to go back up. If he has the combine he is capable of, he should definitely be top 10 and maybe top 5. If all 3 juniors end up in the top 10 of the NFL draft, that is really impressive. I can't imagine it happens very often that 3 top 10 hs prospects all sign with the same school and all 3 end up as top 10 picks in the same draft. Hopefully Hugh is there at the draft with them. Pretty good sell to any 5 star out there, you come here, you play right away, and you get drafted in the 1st round after 3 years.
