I looked at the state recruiting thread and I have some questions.

They think Simmons is a lock to state why?

Some of them think AJ brown is better than Metcalf and its a joke he's rated higher. I know AJ is good but I didn't know he was in the same category as Metcalf, is he?

A lot of them think Benito will flip because he's friends with that LB that flipped last year. I thought he was one of our bigger recruiters?

Why is their recruiting thread so short don't they care about recruiting or do they just not have anything good to talk about?

Yancy seeing things again, lol.

The pay sites I am on say Drake and Little were not there. Simmons was there.

AJ brown is very good. If you had seen him play you would agree.

Drake Davis is better than both.

But AJ is probably ahead of DK. I'd agree with them.

Benito jones isn't flipping.

Didn't I just describe him as good? I just thought it was funny they thought is was a joke he's rated higher than him.

Well it is.

And I'm not sure why you think it's funny.

They played earlier this year on national television.

AJ brown should be ranked higher.

Though metcalf's team wasn't playing good football at the time. And starkvilles defense was getting to the Oxford qb.

But i would love to have them both. Metcalf's had a strong end to his senior year. But I would take AJ over DK.

He looks like a laquon/amari type of star already

I agree. DK was dealing with a hamstring injury, but AJ is better. Drake Davis probably has a higher ceiling than either of them.

AJ is a beast. Very physical like Laquon but not nearly as polished as Quon was coming out of HS.

That is debatable. I have seen them play a bunch over the past 3 years and every time I see one play I come away saying he is better than the other...only to change my mind the next time I see the other.

I'd say that is TBD....all 3 are studs though.

I want aj brown in Oxford and I want him to get that number 1 jersey.

I'm already making my sign for game day. "Going to town with 1 in the Brown"

Brown isn't coming here. He may choose bama to leave the state but he'd never be able to go back home if he signed with ole miss.

Is that your lone reason as to why he won't come here?

I watched the Little Egg Bowl this season and Brown looked like a freaking stud. He honestly reminded me of Laquon out there. Would LOVE to grab him.

We don't have to sign aj brown. We just have to sign the check and auto loan for him.

sign DK and Drake Davis and it wont matter if we lose every other WR/ATH in the whole entire class ... AJ Brown can go to MSU or DSU for all I care... Drake looks like Julio Jones at 18 to me.. I know he has a long way to go attitude and work ethic wise but the frame and athleticism are there .. Both he and DK are special players.

It's easy to forget that we also RSed Van Jefferson .. There aren't a lot of team in the SEC that would've redshirted a kid as explosive as Van... and I want Shy Carter too.

Ah. I've only seen him play against UT-Martin. I thought you could play a certain amount and still get a RS?

Really glad we were able to redshirt Van Jefferson. In a good spot when you can redshirt a talent like him

I'm almost sure Lodge has a handful of catches and a Touchdown. Not sure why we burned his redshirt for that, but he used up a year.

Assuming Kelly stays, Shae redshirts next year. I would like to see a new crop of our WRs basically have one year of experience under Kelly before they play under Shae. So we play Lodge, Jefferson, and the incoming true freshmen in 2016. They'll all have a year of experience for Shae's first season in 2017.
