The whole time I'm at Gettysburg, I have the strangest sensations and I do have these weird dreams sometime.

Uh, well yeah, my draws happened to have been blue.
But, they started off white, 4 years earlier.

I hope that you have a good reason for reading up on such matters. There are some things that are beyond even trying to reconcile. Control the controllable.

And yet you watch the show.

Nope - less times than I have fingers. In those times I've watched, Bruce Jenner is pouting & throwing a fit about not getting enough attention. Didn't know it was still on, nor do I know the year that I last saw an episode. I don't watch "E" - trash tv, with garbage programs, & unadulterated sluts & whores don't interest me. The little I do know about them comes from here since there's a couple of threads about them every week on either OT or both. ... I take it you're a faithful viewer of the program. Sorry, it's just not my thing.

I have paid some attention to Bruce Jenner over the years because his real fame comes from winning the gold medal in the decathlon in the '76 Olymics - not from a "reality" program that stars he & his garbage family. He was still extremely famous for winning that gold medal when I was a kid, years after those games. It was a pretty big deal, which seems to be an unknown fact to people here. The sluts that comprise his family didn't make him famous; he already was. Although he was always a self absorbed prick, he did accomplish a great deal in his young life - more than the members of his trashy family combined. It's just unfortunate what he has become since his long term involvement with them. Garbage.

Wifey watches E! all the time

Although last week I came home and she had the TV on ESPN and was actually interested in SportsCenter. I was shocked.

when one is there and experiences a topic in person, that person probably has a different perspective and much more insight, into what actually did take place.

Therein lies one of the major problems with our culture. We dismiss the learned wisdom of our older generations while almost worshiping the naïveté of youth.

Businesses know the value of institutional memory. Without it they would have to endlessly repeat procedures. It makes sense to call upon the experience of older workers in determining the direction of a business. That's why most CEOs are older, I would think.

This logic doesn't translate to our society at large, however. If we had as much respect for the wisdom of older adults as we do for the power most people want to attain, we'd be living in a very different, and better, world.

I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge about almost everything. It's not controllable.

My tv in my media room is probly still on whatever channel I was watching back around Christmas. I was traveling during LSU bowl game and the Natl champ game, watched those in hotels. Mine hasn't been on in a while.

Really sorry to rain, but Snopes is a bullshite site.

It is ran by two screaming liberals with ZERO INVESTIGATIVE EXPERIENCE. They mainly use Google as the source of their 'investigation'.

This is your crack investigative team at Snopes, David and Barbara Mikkelson.
