If you ask a guy about car issues you should expect him to answer them to the best of his ability. Seems he did tho he did seem to focus on just the mechanical side and did not give any advice on the electrical side.
With newer cars they have that sensor chip that seems to go bad and causes this problem.

Well according to many here from a different thread about catching your spouse cheating the wife should have shot and killed both him and the neighbor girl.
