I have replaced a few of them with one from an ink pen. Works great.
Sorry I meant strike king texas craw. Looks like they may have added some glitter but I haven't bought any in a long time.

My buddy and I planned a trip in Feb with pretty muddy water and warm temps. I made up a few that were basically Texas craw with a little orange added. 1 tab black, 1 tab green pumpkin, 1/2 tab chartreuse and 1/2 a tab bright orange. Put them on a 5/8 oz spinnerbait with 2 # 5 Colorado blades, silver over gold and whacked them that day. Used a green pumpkin with orange belly 6" craw as a trailer. Also made a few jigs up same color and my buddy got a 6 1/2 on it.
Bring back penaltys for crowd noise violations. If you're not part of the team, you shouldn't affect the game.

This one is about 30 minutes from me. A girl I graduated with got busted for banging her 15 yo son'd friends about 15 years ago as well. Must something in the Tennessee River i guess.

I'm currently playing red bridgestone e12 contact practice balls 10.99 on golfballs.com. To my knowledge the only difference in practice are a possible misprint or other ink blem. They really do seem to fly straighter than a PROV but once my game gets a little better I'll switch to ProV or 1x as I have probably 150 of them than I have found or bought locally for 1.00 each that were found on the course.
No they were 4 wheeled by my time. Did blow one up one morning spinning tires on a hill covered in dew. Smoke rolled and it ran like crap the rest of the day

TD WITB 2025

Posted by Bama Shadow on 3/24/25 at 4:14 pm
Thought we'd do a WITB thread for this year. What you changed, if anything, etc.

Out: All my Cobra stuff, had Aerojet Max driver, 3 wood, and 7 wood. Forged Tec one length irons. I never got consistency with the woods, and the one length experiment didn't go well.

In: Ping G430 Max 10K driver 10.5 with a CB 50 shaft from the new G440 ( was fitted for it at demo days this past weekend)
Ping G430 Max 3, 5, 7 woods.
Adams 2014 Idea 5 and 6 Hybrids
Maltby TS3 forged irons 6-GW with recoil 460 esx shafts.
Cleveland Smartscore wedges 50, 58
Maltby 1.05 in 54 degrees.
Odyssey DFX 2 ball putter.
Golf pride Tour Velvet oversize on everything but putter.
Bridgestone E12 Contact red practice balls. 10.99 per dz at Golfballs.com
Wedges and putter are unchanged, everything else is new to me.

Love the Pings, so forgiving and easy to hit straight. The irons I'm liking so far but will take some time. Longer than they should be and very forgiving.

I was able to get everything used for 1/2 price of new so less than 1500 including new grips for everything I bought which was offset by either selling or trading my Cobra stuff.

I think that's why any team with Max will struggle in the constructors because nobody but Max can drive the damn thing. I fear if he goes to Mercedes it will be the same thing.

Sky park in Florence, AL

Sky Park was Agusta National compared to Chriswood in Athens.18th green at the club house where you enter looks great with water fronting it. But once on the course all greens were about 30x50' mounds that all sloped back to front scattered around a pasture. Not to mention its only a lil over 5k yds so several par 4's under 250. It's by far the worst course I have ever seen.

As for Sky Park it was great for what it was. A good place for beginners, hackers, and kids. I remember my dad taking me and my brother there as kids and letting us play the par 3 course before they closed it. I think every town needs one of those IMO. I guess Spring Creek is that here now, but I was once a teenage hacker and loved playing sky park with my buddies and raising hell on the carts.

A few that stand out to me, I remember driving into a fairway bunker on # 10 at Goose pond and had about 210 to the green. Hit a 5 wood to about 25 ft and 2 putted for birdie. Another was on their sister course Plantation point I made about a 30 ft putt for a birdie on the 3rd or 4th hole. At the time it was just a great putt. The significance came later as that was the only time i ever broke 80. (Shot a 79). Those were both long ago before the back surgeries but the other day playing with my dad had about 180 into the green on a par 5 and hit my 4 wood to 4 feet...and missed the eagle putt.
Probably a Garmin launch monitor or similar

Maltby has really nice stuff for any player and any budget. I just scored a set of the TS3 forged from Ebay, but only bought those instead of new because they were exactly what I would have ordered anyway. Also they will adjust them however you want.
I used this for mine this year and they're pretty good
Nolan Ryan holds or shares 51 carrer records
I vote 30-378 and load some 110 grain Barnes TTSX and try for 4000 fps !

Anyone know why the Jordon logo has a big piece of black tape across it ?
