I'm so pretentious because I think a guy should play up the things that make him attractive instead of covering it up with spray tan.

Are you always this big of a dipshit?

They're neck and neck with the affliction crowd for biggest douchecanoes in my book.

I feel like hipsters have at least at some point given us good beer. Until the affliction crowd gives me a good oatmeal stout, I can't in good conscience make them neck and neck.

You're pretentious b/c you associate "classy" with dressing according to your personal standards and anyone who doesn't is failing at being "classy," aka "they aren't as good as me."

I love oatmeal and I love beer, but that combo seems nasty

I simply do not have it in me to care one iota what another dude is wearing. Suit or a button down shirt? Great. Tapout gear? Great. Basketball jersey? Fine with me.

And there's girls that are attracted to every type of dress for a guy--I like that mine has a wide range of tastes.

Think skinny jeans, thrift store jacket, 20 year old sneakers, and wire rimmed glasses with no lenses.

I love it. FWIW, Guinness is a stout. If you like that, I'd suggest giving it a whirl.

I think classy comes with carrying yourself well. I have yet to meet a guy who dresses/acts like Dr. Jones is talking about that carries themselves well. Or isn't a raging douchebag.

And yes, I like guys that have some class.

Probably b/c you make snap judgments based on their appearance before you could ever get to know them and keep yourself from even being near them in public at the horror of your pretentious friends seeing you associating with such "classless" guys.

Guess I'll stick with my comfortable worn jeans, Button up shirt, and Dr Marten 1460s. Works for me.

FWIW I think it's more the persona that is generally attached to guys described in the OP. And when I think of those guys I think of ones that narrowly restrict themselves to that type of dress/persona and try to act that "part". It's pretty awful. And not even remotely attractive.

I can't stand hipsters either but affliction douches are worse.

Samuel Smith is probably one of the wider produced ones that's pretty good. Have anything near you like a Liquor Barn or Liquor Express that carries a lot of craft beers?
