Why couldn't we get one damn NCAA game with the playoff format?

I think it is actually in one of the older ones, so feel free not to bring that up. I could be wrong though. I just keep thinking about how the first year we have a playoff, is the first year without an NCAA game.

Maybe I worded it terribly. I do have a problem with that.
556, the last NCAA Football game has the BCS format. Due to lawsuits and shite, the NCAA Football game by EA Sports was discontinued after last year. So there is no playoff format in the most recent game, and it's bothersome.

Manziel, or Clowney? Maybe one would have gotten the cover on one system, while the other on the other?
Both were fascinating players, but Manziel would obviously have had the edge winning the Heisman.
