Anyone here ever see him in person? I did on 2 occasions when the Bulls played the Charlotte Hornets. He didn't do anything too spectacular in either game but I'm glad I went.

Watched a special on MJ this morning during Sportscenter since they're doin a countdown to his 50th bday. Talked about how so many youngsters today try to talk up Kobe or Lebron as GOAT b/c they never got to see MJ.

Any of the SECr youngsters have this opinion? Anyone else ever get to see him play? Playoffs even?

Fans who spell it Jordon need not respond.

ETA: looked mine up too:

1st game was in jan 1991 and he had 33 points
2nd game was decembre 1992 and he had 33 points also
(not as mediocre as I remembered, oops)

I saw him beat the hawks on a buzzer a couple of games he came back from his first retirement. We bought the tickets before he announced he was coming back. The 2010 BCS game and watching MJ are my top two sports moments.

first time was when they won the final four at the dome, before anyone really knew who he was...you could see he was special even then though

after that few times when the Bulls came through, couldn't really get near him though, pressers behind a desk etc

last time in Memphis when the Wizards came thru. It was time for him to hang them up at that point

In the Garden, 1995, vs my Knicks. 55 points. Starks didn't have a prayer that night. My dad must have said "GD" 30 times that night. Haven't heard him curse like that before or since.

I saw him a few times. Overrated IMO. Couldn't hit a curve.

I never got to see him live, but back in college during the late 80s, early 90s I remember every dorm room TV was tuned to WGN when the Bulls were playing.

Seemed like everyone watched the games and talked about Jordan's nightly performance.

Yep. Saw him play right field in 1994 when the Birmingham Barons came to play the Nashville Sounds. Decent outfielder but couldn't hit for shite...

I miss the Omni.

Got to see his last game in Atlanta ('98) as a Bull at the Georgia Dome, which set a long-standing NBA attendance record of 62K. It was awesome.

He was a special guest speaker 2 years ago at Pope AFB right next to Fort Bragg. One of my buddies asked him how it felt to block Ewing and he said it felt great. Also some lady asked if he preferred boxers or briefs.
