Quite a few probably

I believe there's only 16 in the US

Gotcha. I see the avg at the bottom of the list.

There's truly only one Tennessee. The Harvard of the Smokey Mountains.

Can one of you copy/paste? I couldn't even see what the download said. It's been 13 years since I paid dues, and can't even really remember what they were.

That looks substantially cheaper than what me and a lot of my friends had to pay a semester. I'd say if you had a house, dues were anywhere from 3,700 to 5,000
But dues are also constantly on the rise. I think they've built 8 new houses in the last four years at Alabama?

I don't remember them serving lunch when I was in AU. Seems like I remember it being a Monday-Friday (maybe even Thursday) if there was a band party.

I had a lengthy discussion with one of my friends who was a social chair at OU about fraternity dues vs. money spent on social life for non Greeks and I think it justifies itself at some point. A lot of the money for dues that goes to parties is likely being spent at bars and such anyways if you aren't in a fraternity

Tennessee comes to mind for LSU. All around solid athletic program with a passionate fanbase and a state pretty much to itself. Good not great Greek life, solid donor base, travels well.

When I was active, we didn't do a lot of bars anyways unless there was some sort of drink special. We mainly had keg parties during the week and band parties on the weekend. Or just drank at someone's house.

Yeah that was his point. We did some of the math out for the average semester and the difference was negligible if you were a non Greek who went out to the bars 2-3 nights a week

Ole Miss is basically a smaller Alabama.

Once you hit 21, people were at the bars constantly. We'd go out and patio drink most nights at Bodega or the like, and then head back to drink a few more with the younger guys and girls who would hang out at the house.
Fraternity dues are worth it IMO. There is always something to do or get involved in, and you always have a place to hang out. Not dissimilar to a social club.

I'd say the same thing about Ole Miss and UGA. Athens is a giant Oxford almost.

That's the best that I could do. Texas A&M and Vanderbilt are the outliers that don't apply.
LSU - Florida
Georgia - Ole Miss
Tennessee - Kentucky
Mississippi State - Auburn
Alabama - South Carolina
Arkansas - Missouri
I kige this.
