There are a lot of bad beers listed here.
If you're just beginning with something that isn't pisswater, it depends on what you like. There are so many types of beer.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Left Hand Milk Stout, Boulevard Pilsner, New Belgium Fat Tire, and Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale will give you a variety of easy to take craft beers for someone just starting. Figure out what you like and work your way up from there.

Blue Moon is a good wheat beer. Amber and Shiner Bock if you like darker beer. Corona Light if you want something lower in calories.
You haven't discovered good beer. All of those are mass produced swill.

If you want to get completely "walk the wrong way for 3 miles until you are in the next town" drunk, I suggest this bad boy

If you can't find Chimay, you aren't looking.

Miller light is my go to domestic lager that everyone can drink
Sam Adams is good for an intro to hoppy beers like IPAs, etc
I find that any local micro brew is typically going to be goood. Deep Ellum Brewing company's Dallas Blonde and Community IPA are fantastic beers here you can find all over Texas and Louisiana and Georgia, and I assume all over the South. Lazy magnolia makes good stuff that can be found all over the South, their pecan ale is superb. Also southern star out of Houston you should be able to find, their blonde is probably my favorite.

My game day beer, but those Trappist ales will break the bank and I only do them during the FB season.
Speaking of Trappist beer, wife doesn't know I know, but she got me some Westy for Christmas.

I'm allergic to something in their Blonde Bombshell. It's so good but I can't drink it.

Don't waste your time on light/lite beers all awful and have to drink more for the same alcohol content.
If domestic nothing beats Budweiser or Coors original.
Blue moon is a solid Hefeweizen that is readily available.
India Pale Ales are very hoppy and an acquired to taste like whiskey/scotch. So stay away from IPA s in general if you want something more mild.
For something with high gravity aka higher alcohol content AndyGator is great by Abita.
Also in the spring Strawberry Abita is the best, Abita also has a Hefeweizen with raspberry called purple haze that is great.
Lazy Magnolia has a few great beers so try those when available.
As far as Mexican cervezas I'd stick with Negra modello and Dos Equis.
Corona and tecate ar garbage
Heineken in the US does not taste the same as European Heineken. Heineken in Europe is fresher or something because Heineken in the US is bad comparatively.
So if in Europe try Heineken there or on tap. Stella Artois is similar not great here better on draft or Europe.
The one exception I make for sweeter beers is Leinenkeugel's
They do it right. Summer shandy ( lemon) and they make the best Grapefruit Shandy I've ever had. That grapefruit shandy is amazing. Leinenkeugel's Canoe paddler is another great beer. If you can find a variety pack of Leinenkeugel's you can sample shandy, pale ale, IPA etc to see what style you prefer.
All of the not your father's root beers are trash tastes like freaking corn syrup and sugar.
Try to avoid sugary beers it will give you a worse hangover.

The Sierra Nevada classics, will get you off the horse piss Buds and Millers and on the right track. Sierra is available almost everywhere small town America and is the true original craft beer in USA. Their quality control and consistency trumps most of these small newcomers to the game. Start with their mainstay classic Pale Ale, Torpedo, or Hop Hunter. These beers are not meant to be guzzled nonstop like a Bud or Miller, they are meant to be enjoyed relatively slowly. And for good reason as most of crafts average about 50% more alcohol that the horse pissers.
Almost forgot, for the darker beers S.N. Tumbler brown ale is definitely different and superb. In late winter S.N. comes out with their seasonal Tropical IPA, delicious.
But S.N. has made a beer I will NEVER drink again, their Otra Vez, a salty beer, just tasted awful to me, like cold sea water you accidentally swallow when swimming in the Gulf.
