Texas Holdem tournaments or cash games. I get my best odds in that game and can play for hours on 100.00 and be thoroughly entertained, and employ strategies.

Roulette players...do you have any tips?

I just stick mostly to singles and bridges and occasionally bet a row.

recently went to a casino and watched my friends bet $20/hand at blackjack. I cannot fathom how that is enjoyable knowing that it's a bad bet every time.

Playing strictly on basic strategy gives you almost 50/50 odds of winning. If you can count cards you can know when the odds are more In Your favor and up your bets

There's nothing like craps at a full table when the shooter's on a roll.

If you are losing money at craps ....You need to get off the table. You definitely need better teachers, because you can't shoot dice.

I learned from two "Good Ole Boys" that shot dice in Birmingham, for lunch money. They owned their own Rep firm in Seattle. After months of instruction and returning home with 1,000 here and 3,000 there ...The sales staff was calling me a liar behind my back. One Regional Sales Manager sick and the East Cost Manager on a Relay trip with me to Pullman. Spokane is just down the road. My two reps talked us into going to the Casino in Spokane. We lost $200 right away. Dennis backed out to watch. I was there to learn a more aggressive form from Ronnie. $200 back on the table and off we went. The shooter was on a run and eventually we got to the point to where every roll paid us a minimum of $150. Just about to break the bank. They rolled a new one up to table and the shooter rolled a seven. We cashed out ....I won $5900 after tipping the crew $500 and Ronnie pocketed $6100 after tipping the crew.

Monday morning sales meeting .... Dennis says "I apologize to Ray ....I saw those guys pocket $6,000 in two and half hours.

A few weeks later we are in Reno. Trade Show set up. I'm standing on the platform overlooking the casino floor. VP of Sales walks up ..."And how are doing so far?" Pulled my hand out of my pocket with the chips still there ..."up two thousand after screwing around for 4 hours last night. Ronnie and Allan will be here at 7 ...meet us here."

I've been to Vegas 10 times. Probably gambled all of $100. Mostly just watch various games and people watch. I find that interesting. Lots of young asians betting big money all over the place.

I find going to a locals place off the strip, the betting is cheaper and you seem to win more.

Craps if things are good, but when bad it's also the game I hate the most.

I've got a small group that's been going to Vegas yearly for over 15 years now. The last several years, the game we play the most now is pai gow poker. You can look at each other's cards and help etc. It's a lot more social/fun and laid back unlike blackjack most of the time.

Vegas - drove thru town in the daylight, looked at all the hookers, pimps, and tattoo'd drunks. Turned around at other end, just to make sure and drove back out of town. Headed on over to Zion and Bryce Canyon. What a shite hole.

Reno on a climbing trip - 2 quarters in a slot machine, neither hit, quit that. Like locals said free soloing sure beat the hell out of sin city and road whores. Could of saved half a day.
