My flight out last night was cancelled and there wasn't another flight out, so I had to stay home. Being mad, unprepared and not having an open grocery store nearby, I made some chicago dogs and mashed potatoes for lunch, fried some chicken strips, grilled a few pork chops for dinner, drank a lot of beer and watched a lot of football. My fridge is now empty but I did what I could.

All in all a pretty depressing Thanksgiving.

Ah that really sucks but it sounds like you made the best of it. Did they refund the flight?

Too much:

Turkey
Ham
Stuffing
Gravy
Green bean casserole
Sweet potato casserole
Potato casserole
Squash casserole
Unknown yellow casserole
Baked beans
Field peas
Cream corn
Corn bread
Cranberry sauce
Banana pudding

I actually just had a small scoop of each.

Yep I got a fat stipend. And from what I can tell, it was an FAA issue and not a Southwest Airlines issue, so I'm not mad at the airline. Just an unfortunate circumstance.

Lunch was a State Park buffet, everything you could ever want, mostly ate fried chicken.

Ham, smoked turkey, salsbury steak, mac/cheese, mashed potatoes, dressing, green beans, green bean casserole, creamed corn, sweet potatos, deviled eggs, collard greens, rolls, cranberry sauce, squash casserole and I am sure I am leaving something out. Everybody in our family brings something and its a fricking feast.
