Mainly the band kids, but the "cool" band kids, ie the one who liked to party and who didn't eat sleep and breathe band.
I was also in a magnet program in high school, so I got to be friends with both nerds and jocks/cheerleadrs, and just normal people. I was cool with most of them, especially the jocks.

Homeschooled, but in our homeschool group, i hung out with the nerds pretty exclusively .
Homeschooling is weird though. We made fun of the jocks to their faces; they were decidedly lower on the homeschool social ladder than the nerds.

Outcast
It's crazy because I run into folks and they can't believe it's me
I grew three inches after high school and became a dominant Alpha in the business world
I probably would have been voted most likely to be mediocre in high school

I kind of hung out with a different range of people. There were some "jocks" because of playing soccer and basketball. And some very not-jocks from doing Quick Recall and being in AP classes. I had a pretty close circle of a 3-4 people and then just kind of hung out with different groups beyond that depending on what was going on.

I'd say my real close friend group was 25% regular folks, 75% jocks. But there were a couple guys from the rednecks and a few from the stoners that were in "our" group too.
This. Except the stoners weren't in our group.

The cheerleaders. 12 of us in that clique.

I didn't fit in with any of them. Didn't really have a unique identity. I could get along with anyone. But trying to be friends across cliques meant not being in one.

Geeks, although I got along fine with the jocks and cheerleaders because of football and track.

I was pretty popular in spite of being a trouble maker. My uncle was retarded and 40 years old so I could convince him to buy anything. Every friday we went around and picked up cigarettes/booze. I charged double for this service and ended up buying a cheap truck with the profits which in turn hauled even more drink to the parties.

Jocks/preps. All the dudes got along though and we did intermingle a lot though. The girls were the only ones who excluded people and caused drama.

This. Same. I played football and basketball but was also in AP classes so I got a mixture of jocks and nerds.
