That ring is just another in a long list of weird traditions Aggie people think makes them unique and interesting. They don’t realize how pathetic they look. God help you if one of them ever starts to talk to about the Aggie way.
I don’t know if you remember when fans from the big 12 came here to warn us about their behavior. All of us laughed it off as a joke in almost disbelief that anyone would intentionally be the way they described A&M people.
We aren’t laughing now.

My kid applied to Texas, A&M, LSU, SCar, Tampa, and UNCW. Visited all except Tampa and A&M. Chose SCar because she liked their program and campus. I couldn’t be happier.

My kids were born and raised in South Florida. My son graduated from LSU in 2014 and stayed in Baton Rouge. My oldest daughter never showed any interest in LSU. She graduated from FSU in 2015 and moved back home. Sometime this fall she decided she decided to pursue her Masters degree online
