I ate at Stoby's in Russellville for breakfast back in December. They had chocolate gravy with biscuits. It was delicious.

provel cheese is better than any other cheese. I eat that shite daily by itself every time i head to the fridge.
Provel is a mixture of provolone, cheddar and Swiss cheese and it is delightful. Low melting point, complex flavor and deeply satisfying. Not odd at all.
If the original author of that infographic had researched better he'd have found out that one of the oddest and still regularly eaten foods in St. Louis is the fried brain sandwich. I've never seen it served in any other state. I grew up eating it and it's disgusting and probably unhealthy.

Nebraska has the Runza, which I like and I have never had anywhere else.
Upstate NY has something called a "garbage plate" which is like a trashier version of poutine.

Biscuits with chocolate gravy are fricking awesome. Didn't know that was somehow an Alabama thing.

I think some of these foods could be attributed to several different states. But the graph wouldn't work if they did that, so they chose one that they felt fit best.

My Grandmother in NW La used to make chocolate gravy when I was a young'un. She would either serve it with biscuits or let us make a sandwich with it on light bread.

Also, aren't slugburgers a MS and north AL thing, and not TN?
West Tennessee...which isn't really Tennessee...it's either East Arkansas or North Mississippi.

Slugburger sound like what my high school cafeteria served as hamburgers---govt "meat" mixed with soybeans to create a burger patty.

Eating straight up boiled pinto beans and calling them soup beans is weird af.
You boil the pintos down with some ham hock, hog jowl, whatever, celery and carrots, put some diced onion and chow chow in there. Plenty of pepper.
How have you not had this?

Surprised SPAM is not on a state.
Manudo should be Texas, not rattlesnake bc it’s not like restaurants even serve that one.

The correct answer for GA is Chitlins - grew up watching both sets of my grandparents eat them, sometimes boiled and that's weird and nasty!

That's not really at all accurate.

So are squirrels.

I'm sure other states have it but I don't think its as easy to find as here.
Another is Parisa. I'm sure you can get it in other states but I've only seen it in central Texas.

Chocolate gravy is the bomb. It's basically Chocolate fudge before its hardened up. On q biscuit with butter. That's a staple at Mawmaws......more like a desert.
