Neil Peart better than John Bonham? Negative.

Carter Beauford or Phil Collins are my favorite drummers of all time with Bonham coming at #3.
I hate everything about Rush

I have this weird way of thinking about Rush. When a Rush song comes on the radio I absolutely can’t wait till it’s over because I pretty much hate it.
However, I would dare not argue against them being in the Rock hall of fame nor do I roll my eyes at anyone that loves them.
Kinda the same way about Yes.

He is forgotten now a days but David Lee Roth used to be a great front man for Van Halen. Decent voice and tremendous showman.
Robin Zander has been great as a front man for Cheap Trick. They are one of those bands that just sounds much better in person then they do on a recording.
I wouldn't put Kid Rock in the front man for a band slot. He was the star act and had a band to back him up. While obviously a vaster bigger star the same could be said for Elvis. I'd be inclined to put Bob Dylan in the not so much a front man for a band as the star act with a band backing him up.
Buddy Holly probably would have been one of the all time great frontmen if he had not died in that plane crash. At just 22 years of age and with a love of musical experimentation he could have been a musical force throughout the 60's and possibly into the 70's.

Anthony Kiedis is no Ozzie but he knew when it was time to whip his dick out onstage.

Can't believe no one has mentioned Michael Hutchence.
He was everything a frontman is supposed to be.

Rush gets terribly annoying
I was a Rush fan years ago, and didn't understand people who disliked them.
I can't stand listening to a single Rush tune now. Don't know exactly when this changed or why.

Peart, Moon, Bonham and Buddy Rich are all at the top for me. Different styles but talent wise I'd put them having a sense of parity. IDK that there's something one of them can do that the others can't, just that they do things that don't fit musically with the style of the others bands.
That said, overall musicality wise, Led Zeppelin was on a different level than almost anyone else.
